I can give you advice on what works and does not work in this game – the kind of stuff that one learns with playing a few thousand games. I am here to point out the little dark corners that you should avoid, and to help you to create synergy by having everything working together to maximize team value.

Q. How do I get started?
A. Rule #1: Don't panic. This is entertainment. Read the Rules, imbibe the Instructions, say hello on the Message Board. And remember, the Doctor is always in. I can explain it all for you.

Q: What are the consequences of using a non-Ace in the Ace role?
A: He will get a lot of game starts. He probably won't get a lot of complete games.

Q: Is the Ace designation only for a Walter Johnson or a Warren Spahn, or could a 2000-inning guy handle that role with success?
A: The amount of career innings is not as important as his Complete Game Percentage compared to league. Can you think of any 2000-inning guys who had a great CG% compared to league?

Q: Can Randy Johnson be used as an Ace?
A: If you look up "Ace" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Randy Johnson.

Here's what I am NOT here for. I am not here to help with technical or payment issues. Please write to support for that. I am not here to tell you which player is a better value than another. I am not here to tell you how anybody is coded. That would not be exactly kosher. Those are the things that you will have more fun figuring out for yourself!
